The other day, I bought a packet of trachana and have cooked it twice by now.
As I am very fond of these grain-ey food in general, trachana has become immediately of of my favourite Greek food.
On the other hand, Hubby has problem with the particular smell of trachana and also with these grains in general (he does not like, for example, farro and pearl barley).
Consequently I can eat it only for lunch. But her mum told me a secret; if I use it in gemista instead of rice, he would not notice and she has done so many times without telling him. Ha ha ha.
