Octopus

In the area of Piraeus we live there are several psarotavernes (fish restaurants) alongside the coastline.

One of them was drying octopus in front of the shop.


Evidently the Greeks dry the octopus before grilling and you often see these drying outdoor.

But this street is exposed to heavy traffic and consequently the octopus are collecting quite a lot of unhealthy dust. 

Should we still dare eating them?
